My name is Elle. I live in Omaha, Nebraska. I'm an artist and a writer, a mom, a gardener, a cook. I've been extremely lucky to have many, many mentors, teachers, oddballs and eccentrics see something in me and give me a shot. They gave me jobs. They bought me a meal. They shared their hard earned advice. They took me under their wings. They supported businesses I have started and nonprofits I have worked for. They showed me that you can live free and make art out of every bit of your life. As a result, my professional trajectory has carved a windy and off-the-beaten-path kind of path.

I've been a journalist, a business owner, a nonprofit program manager, a gallerist, a designer, a chef, a baker. I helped run a small music label. I worked on a "major motion picture". I was the executive assistant to a media tycoon. (True story.) I've worked on Federal grant programs. I've bagged groceries and walked beans, walked dogs, detassled corn. I've had a ridiculous number of retail jobs selling old things and new things. I've waited countless tables. I've mixed so many drinks.

Now, I am looking for an opportunity that will point me toward my next adventure. 

​

Most of my experience is in placemaking, communications and program management.​ I care deeply about work that encourages us to consider our relationship to nature. I believe in the power of third spaces to connect and uplift community. And I think storytelling is an essential component in healing and in the generation of a more just and joyful future.
